Venture has a clear business objective to produce Co-working, Incubator and Accelerator services.
These services have been developed over 3 months with a core focus on addressing the key customer problem and associated opportunities.
The Business Objectives
As a key component of our growth strategy we consider it critical to identify and outline our business objectives, and align these objectives with clear and measurable development milestones.
Our key long term business objective is to launch a new product. Whilst our existing products have been useful for testing the customer problem, new products are required to fully capitalise on our business potential. Our growth path is clearly oriented around the addition of new products, the development of these new products and the subsequent marketing of these. It is understood that costs will be associated with product development and marketing and these have been allowed for in our budget.
Venture has been created with a clear focus on the needs of our customers. Through a structured customer discovery process, we have validated the key customer problem as the need for an office location that offers the ablity to learn from other, and is supportive of innovation and growth. This is a critical issue for our selected target market of individuals with ideas and early-stage comapnies in the Mansfield region.

In order to be deliver on this value proposition, we Venture is being developed by one of Australia’s leading innovation and early-stage experts is keen to apply his skills to drive energy and growth by supporting others.. This capability has taken considerable time and resources to develop and forms the cornerstone of our competitive advantage.
We have a number of competitors within the Co-working, Incubator and Accelerator market. We consider our key competitors to be: commercial office space (private landlords)
Other service providers (eg. Accounts) in a very limited capacity.. Our understanding of these competitors has been used to refine our strategy and value proposition. We believe that we can compete effectively with a complete supportive environment that has been purpose-designed to meet the needs of early-stage and growth enterprises with a range of services to support the growth journey. We will also seek to train the local community on what to look for when investing in early stage business opportunities and preparing an investment vehicle to support their participation..
Over the next 6 months our focus will be to develop service sets, offerings and pricing. This task will be undertaken in the context of our broader strategy to develop investor education program and establish investment fund.
These strategies are a tactical implementation of our overall business goal as outlined above.
Measurement of the successful implementation of our strategies will be governed by measurable development milestones. The milestones that will be achieved over the next 2 years are:
Determine structure (profit or not for profit), required agreements and contracts
Determine economic minimums for space and facilities to become self-sustaining thorugh co-working revenue
